One Monday morning I was sitting in my social studies class at the back of the room, all by my self as usual. I had my nose in a book when some one came into the class room and announced that we had four new students. I didn't look up. Mr. Turner, my teacher, told the four people:
"You can all sit in the back by our favorite Monkees fan, Katie (Mr. Turner actually calls me that sometimes)."
I smiled but didn't look up. A familiar voice said Hi to me. It took a whole 2 seconds to realize eihter I was crazy or I had just heard Davy Jones say hello. I looked up and Davy Jones was sitting beside me, Peter Tork was sitting in front of me,and Micky Dolenz was sitting in front of Davy. I turned and saw Mike Nesmith was sitting behind me. I almost freaked. I know I had a funny expression on my face because Peter asked me if I was alright. I told him I was fine. Mr. Turner started giving notes but I didn't pay attention. I couldn't help but stare at the "new kids". I couldn't believe that no one else that he was teaching them? My friend Allison likes the Monkees and she didn'tnoticed! Mr. Turner liked the Monkees and he didn't notice realize that they were sitting beside me? What was wrong with all the people in my class? At the end of class Micky asked me if I was alright.
"Alright? I'm sitting by the Monkees and no one else realizes this! Me, Katie, ordianry person that nothing sepcial ever happens to is sitting by the best band in history. Yeah, I'd say I'm fine."
"Hey, did she just call me a monkey?" Peter asked
I asked Allison if she recognized them and she said no.
"Hello, Allison. The Monkees? Sound familiar? Peter, Davy, Micky, Mike. Those people I'm always talking about?"
"The Monkees? Katie, you're crazy. Those aren't the Monkees. They look different. You need to have your head examined, dear."
"I am not crazy! Those are the Monkees! I would know!" I said to her. Since no one believed me I took out a picture of the Monkees i had in my bookbag and showed it to them all.
"That doesn't look like us!" Micky said "They're four totally different people."
I tried to convince them for the rest of the day that I wasn't crazy but no one believed me! I finally gave it up and became friends with them. At the end of the day, Mike came up to me and wispered in my ear:"We are the Monkees".
"See, Allison! Mike just said they're the Monkees! I told you I wasn't crazy!"
Mike just looked at me funny and denied it. "See you tomorrow, Crazy-I mean, Katie." Allison said
"I Am Not Crazy!!!!" I yelled.

PS: I also wrote the story about Amanda's dream with the monkey singing Mary,Mary.
