Good news: PARADIGM LOST's music video "Reason" is on the net and viewable with Real Audio. Bad news: It is really choppy and can only be seen 2x a week by anyone thanks to our dumb host server's indesirable way of doing things. You can see the video HERE if you are one of the lucky two a week. This will be the only link there for a while to minimize traffic and disappointed fans.

PARADIGM LOST mastermind, Shane Matsumoto, just got back from his trip to Europe. There, Shane talked to a few label presidents and distributors, and he was interviewed on 2 shows by Cross Rhythms radio and UCB Europe. Cross Rhythms has a Europe-wide radio station and internationally distributed magazine (the largest Christian music magazine in Europe). Their next issue (Mar/April`99?) will feature a review of HUMAN. You can look at their website here.

1-16-99
PARADIGM LOST's webpage was given the CMCA Award that will be displayed on the front of the Paradigm Lost website. The HUMAN album was also reviewed at length by Paul Gentry at CMCA. See The CMCA review of HUMAN here.
"Paradigm Lost is unlike anything you've heard, and is probably best described as techno or industrial in nature, though there are many different styles represented on this CD.... This would make a good score for a sci-fi movie. It definately rocks... The cover artwork is good... Almost a worlds-colliding sort of thing... To some listeners, this CD is simply going to be a bizarre cacophony. It definitely pushes the envelope."
--Paul Gentry

The Phantom Tollbooth's review of HUMAN here.
"...this multifarious, energetic music is worthy of notice if you are interested in checking out the fringe elements of the avant-garde industrial scene. This record is brimming with raw talent."

For our first real announcement, I guess I could catch everybody up to what PARADIGM LOST has been up to other than songwriting and playing around:
1) PARADIGM LOST now has a page up on Broken Records' website under the Ambient/Industrial category. There you can see over 177 indie artists and on the PARADIGM LOST page on Broken Records you can buy our CDs by credit card, and you will also find nine RealAudio clips: 6 from Paradigm Lost's 2 albums and 3 from off the Joel Pierce Tribute CD for a total of 7 PARADIGM LOST tunes. PARADIGM LOST also is going to feature a song on the new Broken Records Compilation CD #2. Which song PARADIGM LOST will feature on the compilation CD is still to be announced.

2) PARADIGM LOST is on
HM Mag's newest compilation CD (issue #74 November/December `98) given to each subscriber of HM Mag. "The Riddle" was the song chosen and it joins 13 other bands including KINGS X, BRIDE, GALACTIC COWBOYS, THE CHANNELSURFERS, ECHO HOLLOW (serveral members of the old band TOURNIQUET), etc.

3) Paradigm Lost will appear on
Kingdom Records' newest compilation CD #5 due out January of 1999 which will be given away at Cornerstone and sent to radio stations, magazines, clubs, etc. PARADIGM LOST will also have them available to sell very inexpensively. We also reached an agreement that will give PARADIGM LOST an appearance on their web site. The song that will be featured by PARADIGM LOST on their compilation will be "Reason".
