The boys celebrated the New Years with MTV. If you missed it then too bad. It was a very funny night and Billie looked as if he was drunk, nevertheless, they still had fun. This fun included 2 songs performed ["Scattered", and "Time of Your Life (Good Riddance)"], and Billie had a hard time with "Good Riddance". He hit some wrong chords and sang the wrong verse for the 2nd verse. In the middle of the song Billie just stopped and said "I really fucked up" and laughed. He continued to finish the song with less mistakes and in the end he was able to laugh it off. Mike and his girlfriend were there to celebrate, and so was Billies wife, Adrienne, but Tre dissapeared after they performed "Scattered". In between songs Billie worked up the crowd and did some climbing on the towers....he did not get injured.

       Green Day finished the video for "Nice Guys Finish Last", which will be on the upcoming soundtrack for "Varsity Blues". The video is now playing every now and then on MTV. It has a funny football theme, and looks like an old football movie.
