Tod
Osborn Is one of the founding members of blind date. he has
played
with various bands over the years, most notably the basics. he was on the
road in the
early 80's travelling throughout the midwest. he has been the motivator
of the band, handling
all of the buisness chores for most of their history. This includes bookings,
promotional material, schedules, and public relations. When someone wants
to know anything about the band... we send them to tod. he is also the
truck driver, flower man,and we use his basement for our practices. if
anybody goes beyond the call of duty in the band,
it surely is tod. girls...ask tod how to get a free t-shirt!
billy
ice is the man that everybody knows. it doesn't matter where we play, people
are
always
coming up and talking to billy. they know him from all over! it could be
that is because he probably has played in about a couple of hundred bands
in his career! he is definitely a bass players bass player. billy is solid
as a rock and does his job as good as
any.
maybe thats why other bands are always trying to steal him from us. You
will always see billy in his favorite baseball cap, jamming down,singing,working
the lights and always smiling...he never stops!
bob
dreher is the guy who plays old rock & roll like it was meant to be
heavy metal. he adds his own touch to every song while keeping the mood
of the song original. bob has played guitar since he was 5 years old, so
he knows what he likes. bob was co-founder of blind date with tod. they
have been together now for over 8
years,
so they must be doing something right! Bob has played in numerous bands
before, most notably storm. if you really want to see bob get emotional...
tell him his guitar is ugly.
don
"fred" williams is, of course the lead vocalist of blind date. but he plays
a mean guitar, and most people don't know he can also play flute, violin,keyboards,
and just about anything he picks up! fred has also played with numerous
bands over the years, most notably in storm with bob. fred joined the band
shortly after tod and bob got together, so he is a founding member also.
fred is also an excellent songwriter too, ask him about his original songs.
and if you want to see him get emotional... tease him about his pink guitar!
