Background: Kerry Katona and Liz McClarnon first met each other in 1998, and, together with Natasha, formed Atomic Kitten. The group signed with Innocent Records in the Summer of 1999. Their debuting hit, 'Right Now', entered the British charts in the top ten in December of the same year.

A fiery Aries she's a bit of a brainbox and was all set for a career as a lawyer. Then two years ago, aged sixteen, the singing bug took hold and she's not shaken it off since. After getting together with mate Kerry Katona as Atomic Kitten she put all her energies into becoming a pop star and now that it's all kicking off for the band she can hardly believe what's happening. Describing herself as sensitive, intelligent and sarcastic, Liz is no scaredy cat and totally believes in power to the girlies, but don't fear cos she's really sweet (as long as its not first thing in the morning when her beauty sleep has been rudely interrupted, but we all know what that's like!) Just like us she likes reading all the teenage magazines, hates hoovering and housework but will follow Everton forever!! Her all-time, favourite singer is Brian from Backstreet Boys who she thinks has an 'amazing' voice, and her other main inspiration are the other Kittens. The best piece of advice she's ever been given is to 'go with your gut feeling' ... well it certainly looks like it's working for her so far!

Kerry Katona of Atomic Kitten is a wild combination of streetwise kid meets glamour babe. A Virgo she's just turned 19 (her birthday is 6 September 1980) and has been singing from the ripe old age of eleven years old.Drama was her favourite subject at school cos it meant she could get up on stage and do her thing, ultimately being out on stage in front of a large crowd performing Atomic Kitten songs is the biggest buzz of her life. Just before her 18th birthday she met the girl who is now one of her best mates Liz McClarnon and Atomic Kitten was on its way. All those nights bopping down at the nightclub paid off (yeah really) when Kerry began to put her unique voice and brilliant dance moves to the test as a singer in a group and as the band's choreographer. When Natasha joined up everything started to fall into place incredibly quickly. Even though she's worked hard to get here Kerry still pinches herself now again to check that all the recent excitement is really real and not just a dream! Number one on Kerry's list of things-to-do-today is 'having fun'. A great practical joker watch out when she's around before you find yourself squirted with a hidden water pistol or an unknowing accomplice in one of her slapstick pranks. Some of her favourite people include famous funny blondes Denise Van Outen and Goldie Hawn. You bet that when Kerry's about it's always a laugh. She eats Nutella off a spoon from the jar, plays Rugby (don't mess!) and thinks that the worst thing she's ever tasted is her own cooking!
