Valentine's Day Poem

Of all the creatures in my life
The ones who've come and gone
There is one flower still as bright
As the day I found her on my lawn

Happiness, it brought to me
I asked "How can it be so?
The other seeds I planted,
Not a single one did ever grow."

Though now my hobby's getting old
It brings me bitter grief
But never do I regret
Caressing your beautiful leaf

It's not a fad that someday ends
It's not a game I play
"My darling flower I love you more
With every passing day."
