Chapter 6___Mythology, Giants and Extraterrestrials

This next topic is one which has been known to stir up controversy as well as many differences in opinion. In turn, this has created diverse conclusions which have only served to confuse the issue. The only rational approach to such an issue is to compile all of the documentation and then to sort out the unverifiable. In such a process it is necessary to include ancient myth, historical documentation and information derived from the Biblical record. To be fair, it is necessary that these three agree with one another in comparative principals only. With such substantial literary proofs as a foundation, there are still instances in which one can only conjecture. Since conjecture is only circumstantial as it is applied in such a case, it takes a convincing argument in order to sway opinion. With such evidence, we will attempt to derive an accurate scenario (If one has a problem with this, then perhaps they should skip this chapter; Their loss!). The reason for this discussion is that it is quite possible that history reveals a mysterious intermixture of spiritual entities with the genetic composition of humans. In other words spiritual mutants. In todays modern vernacular, contact with such would be classified as contact with the world of psychic phenomena. In ancient days this was simply referred to as the realm of the gods and goddesses. Today this is referred to as ancient myth and legend. But is this simply ancient fantasy, or is it modern reality as well? In todays world of television programing, there are numerous shows which highlight this ancient myth as well as the multifaceted realm of the psychic world. Such documentaries usually attempt to show a connection between myth and reality. These usually include many accounts of the unexplainable, the unknown, and the numerous sightings of UFO's. It is the contention of many that these are all somehow connected. Within these documentaries are numerous accounts of UFO abductions which seem to have many common similarities. There is the bright white light; the abductees loss of the memory of passing time; the encounter with strange alien-like creatures, some of which appear as males, while others appear as females. There are the descriptions of the interior as well as the exterior of alien space craft, and the administration of medical procedures upon the abductees. Such procedures include: probes, x-rays (or the like), implantation of foreign objects, etc . . . There is even the common occurrence of rape, whether it be male or female. There have been cases where the victim of such an occurrence has been abducted again before a full-term pregnancy, and the baby (or whatever it is) has been removed. Sometimes these abductees have had their destinations determined for caverns, caves, ravines, and inactive volcanoes - as their mode of transportation takes them deep within the Earth's crust. One account described a long cave-like hallway which was strewn with clothing, gloves, and shoes as though people were dragged down to the very end. Fortunately, the person who witnessed this was able to escape with their life. There are too many accounts of such weird encounters for us to simply pass it by as fantasy. There are too many experiential verifications as, one by one, people have verified the existence of such as they reveal the facts concerning their encounters. Are there alien intelligences amongst us? What, who, and why are they here? Are they actually from another planet, solar system, or galaxy within our universe? Are they from the Earth itself? Or, are they really from another dimension of time or space? It is now an accepted scientific conclusion that it is possible for two dimensional planes of existence to actually coexist and share the same area of space. It is quite possible that these alien intelligences are not actually from another point in space, but rather from another dimensional plane of existence. Perhaps maybe from the spiritual realm itself. It in interesting that this is what the Bible has taught all along. The world of the occult also teaches that in magic, ". . . just as there is a world ruled by the element of earth, there are other worlds, in other planes of existence, ruled by each of the other elements."----In addition to the element of earth, there is air, fire, water, and ether or akasha which is commonly termed as spirit. In the occult, these comprise the basic five elemental qualities (or dimensional planes of existence) which the magician manipulates in order to do their WORK of magic. According to its teachings, it would appear that this connects magical practices directly with another dimension that is simply a component of the spiritual realm. Most magical practices involve the direct contact or communication between humans and spiritual entities. These spirit entities are termed in a variety of descriptive titles: intelligences, angels, spirits, ghosts, jinns (or genies and fairies), demons, devils, and even gods or goddesses. Such descriptions depend upon the individuals' particular belief system. These entities are directly connected with the occult: Witchcraft - divination, magic, rituals, spells, incantations - Satanism, Magick, Mythology, and yes even Religion. When one wants to increase their knowledge about the subject of spirit communication, they can easily do so by picking a book on any of the above subjects at their local new age or occult book store. These books usually agree with one another on basic principals, yet tend to differ in the actual application of certain rituals, names, or tools used for their work. In common, they all have basic instructions toward the goal of communication to the other side. It is interesting that the local game stores offer a variety of the occult oriented, player friendly items which are on the very same level of instruction. Those who tend to dabble in these areas usually use a ". . . collection of different crystals or shewstones . . . " which enable them to ". . . communicate with extraterrestrial intelligences."----In the teachings of magic, it is common to believe that these extraterrestrial intelligences are linked with the spirit realm and they are often referred to as spirits or angels. Such ideas are also ingrained within the texts of mythological beliefs as well.
