Album *** 1/2

A lot of this album was originally intended for the "Heavy Metal" Soundtrack. This is a great hard rocking album which I think is a must in everyone's music collection.

Fire Of Unknown Origin ***

Nice little upbeat tune. Nothing to spectacular, but absolutely nothing bad about it.

Burnin' For You ****

One of BOC's most famous song. Great guitar work, great harmonics, great vocals, just great overall.

Veteran Of The Psychic Wars ****

One of my personal favorites. This is the only song by BOC to make it into "Heavy Metal" It's the 1st song in the 1st story (2nd song overall) Great synthesizer work. It has that air of mystery and suspense.

Sole Survivor ** 1/2

Not a bad song, could definatly use some more work though. This is just one of those songs that is "just there" Nothing spectacular, nothing horrible.

Heavy Metal: The Black And Silver ***

No offense to Sammy Hagar (who I like very much) but I would've chosen this song as the main theme for "Heavy Metal" and not his version. It's a slow, heavy (heavy metal) song.

Vengence(The Pact) *** 1/2

This song didn't make "Heavy Metal" because it told the story of a 17 minute scene in under 5 minutes. Starts off with a nice flute sounding Synthesizer solo, then becomes a slow hard driving song. About 2/3's of the way through the temp starts to pick up and becomes a fast metal song, only to return to the original beat.

After Dark **1/2

Nice beat and all, but again, nothing truly spectacular.

Joan Crawford ****

Excellent Song. This is what you expect from a BOC song. It has a great piano solo to start things off with. An odd selection of sounde effects in the middle of the guitar solo only add to the song.

Don't Turn Your Back * 1/2

Not at all impressed at all by this song. A little bit on the bluesy side.
