Album ***
Blue Oyster Cult always sounds great in concert, and this album
proves it.
R.U. Ready 2 Rock *** 1/2
Sounds just as good as the studio version. There's a section towards the
end that they speed up while Eric talks to the crowd.
E.T.I. ***
It's sped up a little bit from the studio version. And that's not a bad
thing. It sounds pretty good.
Astronomy **
They only did a so-so job on this one. The vocals don't sound right.
They're a bit off key. I much prefer the studio version (and I really
prefer the Imaginos version)
Kick Out The Jams ***
The line "Kick out the jams brothers and sisters!" always cracks me up.
You can't get to muce more 70's than calling everyone brother and
sister. They did a nice job with this one. Sounds almost identical to
the studio version.
Godzilla ** 1/2
Doesn't sound as "deep" as the studio version. The harmonies are a bit
weak too. It is quite interesting to hear Eric do the japanese part in
the middle though.
(Don't Fear)The Reaper ***
Doesn't sound the same as the studio version, but it still sounds pretty
damn good.
We Gotta Get Out Of This Place ****
I love this version so much more than "The Animals'" version. In my
opinion it's the best song on the album.
