Album ****

This is by far my favorite album. Hence why I named the site Imaginos. Coincidentally, It was the very 1st album I've ever heard by BOC. It's also an album that is often ignored by BOC fans and it's songs are frequently left off greatest hits compilations.I highly recommend this album to anyone who likes rock music

I Am The One You Warned Me Of ****

A hard heavy sounding song. Along the lines of the traditional BOC "heavy metal" songs.

Les Invisibles *** 1/2

Don't ask me where they got the title since it's never mentioned in the song. The contrast of the high vocals with the heavy music creates a nice combination.

In The Presence of Another World ***1/2

The song starts out like a haunting sounding ballad and then becomes a hard heavy hitting song. And of course towards the end of the song, it becomes the haunting ballad again and then combines the 2 sounds. Great guitar work on this one.

Del Rio's Song ***

An uplifting tune. A change of pace from the heavy sounds that are characteristic of this album. The harmony on the chorus could've used a bit more work though in my opinion.

The Siege And Investiture Of Baron Von Frankenstein's Castle At Weisseria *** 1/2

Perhaps the longest title ever given a song. And they never say it in the song (of course that would've taken up an entire verse) A slow, heavy driving song. The depth of the music is outstanding. Also the yelling of the lyrics works quite well.

Astronomy ****

I love this song. It is my all time favorite song by BOC. Also the very first BOC song I've ever heard. Many fans are split on this one. many prefer the original version that appeared on Secret Treaties, while others prefer this more modern sounding version. It doesn't start off quite as slow as the previous version did. The song also increses it's tempo and energy well beyond the original.

Magna Of Illusion ***

This song tells the story of the black mirror that was taken to a house in Europe where it layed and it's evil grew causing WWI. In the middle of the song is a conversation between the man who stole the mirror and his granddaughter who received it as a gift.

Blue Oyster Cult **

This song is mostly a remake of Subhuman which also appeared on Secret Treaties. This song is as close as they come to a ballad. The song is listenable, but just didn't impress me that much.

Imaginos ***

A bit repetitive on the lyrics. They must say Imaginos at least 50 times throughout the song. overall not a bad song.
