Well here it is 2006 already. Things in the world just don't seem right, people live in fear.
My husband decides to buy me a keyboard for xmas. He has become an EBay junkie, so he finds an entry level keyboard. It comes after xmas and it is filthy, brown gunk all over the keys. The voices don't sound real. I played some sounds off a Yamaha Motif on the Yamaha web site, he was impressed. I asked him to clean up the used keyboard. Then I sold it on Craig's List. I purchased a Motif 6, and it sounds great.
Funny how time goes by, sorry for not updating this more. I bought tickets months ago and got in on a pre-sale to see Queen with Paul Rodgers. I had 11th row seats and they had a runway that came out from the main stage. My seats were right next to the runway. At one point Brian May sat on a stool at the end of the runway and sang "Love Of My Life", he was only about 10 feet away from me. It was awesome. The last time I saw Queen Freddy Mercury was still alive. There was a woman next to me that I was talking to. She was jealous that I had seen Freddy perform. It was really cool to see another generation get to see Queen perform.
I bought a new motocross bike. It is a 2006 Yamaha YZ450F SE, I got a real good price on it. The dealer really likes me and they take good care of my bikes for me. I have not raced it yet. I have been riding my street bike some. I usually end up riding by myself. I attended another safety class and met some women who might go riding with me. That would be great if they would. I am still pretty alone for the most part. I forgot to mention that I bought two trials bikes near the first of the year. My husband crashed and was a total baby about it. My shrink thinks I over reacted. But he did not hear how badly my husband reacted. I have been playing ice hockey and improving some. I play my guitars for at least an hour per day. I am improving with them and my keyboard. I've been working on a couple of songs. My mom likes to listen to me play.
A long time has passed since I last wrote in here. I raced my 450 a few times, the first race I won and the other two I did not finish. I was hoping to race some this fall. I came down with some junk that is going around. Had to have antibiotics prescribed to help me get over it. On another note, I have become a professional photographer and shoot weddings, senior portraits, family portraits and sports. I really enjoy doing it and meeting lots of new people and anyone who had seen my photos absolutely loves them. It so hard to think that 2006 is almost over already. Time really goes by so quickly! I did take a 2000 mile trip on my street bike this last summer. I had a lot ot fun on the trip and was gone for 6 days. Things are still not good in my relationship. If I can get the photography where it will support me well, then I will be a single woman again. So I am crossing my fingers and working hard at making this happen.
