Ok, time has flown by again! Happy New Year all. It started off so-so then took a horrible dive for the worse. My birthday was celebrated again by just my mom and I. It was on Saturday and my husband was home but never made mention of taking me out. So I made reservations and my mom and I went out. Then the first week of March my husband went through a layoff at his company and has been at home ever since driving me crazy. Of course money is super tight and I am having to sell my motorcycles. My photography business has not done much lately and I am trying to get it going more. Attended some seminars and keep learning more. I did build my saltwater tank, but it needs to go also as we don't have the money for that right now either. Of course we have no health insurance either. This sucks so bad!
Not much going on. My husband still has no job and no real prospects of getting one. Just a few weeks ago we had 5 motorcycles, 3 dirt bikes and two street bikes. Now one street bike and one dirt bike. The last dirt bike is my 2006 Yamaha YZ450F, a really cool bike and very fun to ride. Alas, no money so no bike. I am keeping my street bike. I saw regular gas today at $3.58 a gallon. At least my street bike gets 45 mpg. My husband is still driving me crazy and I think he is getting cabin fever. Of course we really do not have to money for him to smoke, but he will not quit. It may come to either we eat or he smokes. I can only sell so much of the stuff around here.
Well some progress! My husband finally was hired back to the company that did lay him off. In July I did get to go an a nice motorcycle trip and the chance to see Crater Lake in southern Oregon. In August, my husband had to go in to the hospital because of clogged femoral arteries, 30 years + of smoking will do that. The doc told him, no more smoking or he would be right back in the hospital. So what does he do? Comes home and starts smoking again. I told him I was not going to stay with him and watch him commit suicide. My photography is getting better, but along with the slowdown in the economy, so has my business slowed down. I got a new car and really like it, well except for the stereo. Hard to believe, but 2008 has just about slipped away. I wish everyone a Happy Holiday or Merry Christmas!
