Anti-Flag/Bouncing Souls Show Review
By Retard the Pirate
hey again folks....its me, captain retard the pirate...time for another review! last show i saw was lower eastside stitches, anti-flag, and the bouncing souls. i unfortunately missed lower east side stitches due to having to drive all the fuck out to get someone, so i'll skip right to anti-flag! anti-flag are amazing live. they did a little of the usual preaching on stage, but for some reason, justin sane makes it sound cool....they played the usual set, and the pit was pretty good. there were some of the usual epipunx at the show, but they seemed to stay far away from the pit....A/F played with all the usual energy, and two new members, number two on second guitar, and a new bassist whos name i forgot offhand and i'm too lazy to go get the interview tape.....but they fit right in! they played with the same speed and energy, and new all the parts really well. now, on to the bouncing souls! i love these guys too....greg is always moving on stage, doing things like playing air guitar on his cane, and the bassist kept jumping around. they even posed fer pictures on stage to the photographers in the pit, so it was all good. they played all the old stuff like k8 is gr8 and quik check girl, but also new shit from hopeless romantic (if its in stores yet, get it, its awesome) and the like. all in all, a great show. i'm gonna end this here, cuz i gotta take a crap. i might even put on the interviews i got with greg and pat thetic if i can figure out how to do it without typing....so, um, yea. e-mail me at spikeriot@hotmail.com with comments or shit. adios all.
