Dan got back from RIP Friday--apparently his battle buddle had cheated on Land Navigation and got restarted...so they restarted Dan as well...He came by with Randy yesterday and together we headed down to Myrtle Beach...w/ his Radio Detector...

let's just say we made excellent time there and back.

First thing we did was pick up some beer--the whisky we had brought wasn't nearly a full bottle...and hit the beach.  Kinda sucked cuz there wasn't too many hot women there...:(  We wlaked *forever* looking...Still had fun gallavanting about the Atlantic.

Dan had the great idea to run back to where we'd left our stuff, and, in the process I proceeded to accidentily kick his ankle...thereby breaking a frickin toe...(since we were, of course, barefoot)

course i didn't realize, or even think, it was broken until I got home and pulled off my shoe to stare at the nasty red and black and purple swollen apendage...Went to the army hospital today where the ytok X rays and confirmed my belief...great.  Now I can't say that I've never broken a bone in my body...

We got back around 0300 or so so I promptly crashed...got up around noon.

Got home from the ride alogn to Camp Lejune at about 2200 friday night.  Our court martial guy got 30 days confinement so I rode in the car and waited in the brigg quarterdeck as they inprocessed him...it was more boring than anything else, really...Added to the fact that it'd been a long day at work--no lunch or lunchbreak to boot, and I just came home and drank a bit, ICQ'd with a Canadian who'd found the journal, then crashed--PJ tickets on the morn...I spend half an hour locating the closed Kroger and not locating the still open Kroger (TM outlets) so I came home for the TMO thing...still got decent seats for the charlotte and greensboro shows, and a few extras as bargaining tokens in the upgrade search...

Eicck...I feel so lifeless right now.  Definitely time for bed.
