Pearl Jam, Yield

Jt's one week until VA Beach.  Yesterday during lunch and after work I jacked into the net to look plan things a little bit...mainly trying to look for a place to stay up in New York for the Jones Beach shows...didn't have much luck.  Seems I'll be taking those nights as they come, stealing showers in hotels or something perhaps.

Ahhhh, the life of a cash strapped traveler.

I'm definately suffering from Pre PJ anxiety syndrome.  Last night I had another PJ dream-two nights in a row.  It was a large stadium show up north (i don't think it was Jones Beach though) and the venue was farely empty...I snuck down about fifty rows of seats and ended up next to a bunch of the F**CKERS...

Wait no, I distinctly remember now that it was VA Beach.  We were all talking about how ROskilde might affect the tone of the evening's show-the first since that incident.  The band came out with a fast paced, harcore song--can't remember which-- "Evacuation" maybe.  We all thought it would be a downturned, depressing, dark toned performance--a lot of slow, dirge like numbers.  SO of course we were all pleasantly surprised.  For whatever reason I hadn't brought my DAT in, so i just kciekd back and enjoyed the show.  this last probably manifested by my decision to not tape all the shows. Greensboro I will most likely not tape--more due to the hassles gettign gear into that venue.  Probably one of the Jones Beach shows.  VA Beach though...that there is a hard call.  Part of me just wants to live that moment-being such an anticipated moment, and one that could so go in any direction that I want to just emmerse myself into it more.  The other part of me wants to tape for that exact reason.  I plan on velcro'ing up the pack for this tour too...MUST remember to do that.  Tori was hell on the needle and thread...

Yup, one week to go!

So happy to be alive...to be alive...to be alive.  I can never forget this album and what it saw me through...
