1541 Chris Cornell 11.13.99 So my ISP is being a butt right about now. I met this gal from Maine online, and I was trying to chat with her via ICQ just now...but ICQ ain't werking right, and it's pissing me off. It's not just ICQ tho, can't get pages to load, and I started to dl Netscape 6 last night--it got cut off and I can't reconnect. Guess I'm gonna hafta try rebooting... 2218 Eventually had to call Customer support and get a new dial up number...That was before I took my nap just now. I'm still a little groggy. I only rolled out of bed because a dream had sparked an amazing vision of a story. The last crashed and burned a long time ago. So anyway...this gal from Maine. She's perfect. I haven't even been chatting with her for a full week yet but...Maine is 860 miles -- 15 hours away. Ouch :( Warfighter exercises are kicking off tomorrow. I am i the que as a standby driver...supposed to drive sunday, thursday, and next next monday. Other that that ? But things alwasy change, and although I've been told I will not be staying out overnight...my full set of gear comes out there with me..sleeping bag, spare BDUs, snivle gear, pogue bait...etc. Thats not something I was told to do, but it's something I'm doing. End of story. It about two and a half weeks I'm leaving for Christmas.
I went to the PX today to scope out ideas for gifts...think I've got some
good gifts lined up too...a settling thought :) I find it so hard
to shop for my parents these days...they pretty much have everything they
want. Yet I think I got a sudden breeze of inspiration this year
