More work shit has cropped up this week. Age old JAG addage..."it comes in spurts". Heh.

I may or may not go diving this weekend. The other guy from 1-1 SFG(A) in the class and I have tentative plans for saturday. He was, incidentally, the only other person to get all the way through the course w/o missing days, having medical issues, or failing the final written exam.

Guess that says something positive about our unit :)

Then again...it's like (yeah blow off I AM from California after all ;P )...lunch is right around the corner and I don't plan on coming back to the office afterwards...Maybe I'll see him at the SF Association meeting later today. 
(free beer...maybe I'll go)

Oh, and the other night...I learned how to do crossfading!!!!! It is so awesome what you can do with crossfading...for the longest time I wondered how engineers made all those live tracks from different shows blend like they were the same show. Now I know how friggin simple that is! Heheheheh

We have a four day weekend! Ok, well...actually, I have a three day weekend. Tuesday I have staff duty again :( Course then I have next Wednesday off for recovery...giving me a TWO DAY WORKWEEK!
SCORE!!!!!!!

Jen and I worked out what tickets we are going to use for the seattle PJ/benefit show. If a certain moderator has a problem with the proximity to her current seats...well, it's *her* problem and SHE can move.

So now all I need it my Tascam DA 20 to finally arrive and/or christa's package and I'll be literally *floating*. I feel heady enough as it is!

Of course...I found out some RATHER disturbing news. The only company that manufactures ALL of the DAT transports for EVERY DAT DECK...has stopped manufacturing said transports!!! 

(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!)
Guess I'll need to stock up on decks and spare parts! Minidisc just doesn't cut it for routine use.
