Basicly, you can by a hookah in every place where an Arab market is, like Akko, or at the gas stations at "Kvish ha-Bik'a" (the road near Jordar border - from Dead Sea to the North), search and you will find.
In Tel Aiv you can buy it at "Shook ha-Pishpeshim" (Flea Market) in Jaffa, near the "Clock Tower". In Jerusalem at the Arab Market in the Old City (please don't go by yourself - take a friend) or at "Kikar ha-Hatulot" (Cats Square) at the end of Yoel Salomon st.

Opacity it's a very important thing for your hookah work right. The connections, marked 1 (connection of the top part to the bottom part that contains water) and 2 (connection of the hose to the hooka's body) on the picture have to be closed tight, check them !

Of course look for hose long enough for comfortable smoking.
Finally, you can check the opacity by closing the top hole (3 ,where the tobacco is) with your finger and take a breath: if no air is coming - the hookah is closed properly !
Some places (like the kid at "Kikar ha-Hatulot") will give you to smoke from your new hookah right there - don't be a shy !

Unless you lives in Holland (or another country with wise drugs-policy), all you can smoke legaly is the tobacco been sold with the hookah, not too bad, it comes in many tastes: apples (my favorite), strawberry, apricot, honey, mint and others. Hmmm, delicious !!!

`I can't explain myself, I'm afraid, sir' said Alice, `because I'm not myself, you see.' `I don't see,' said the Caterpillar.

To prepair the hookah for smoking isn't hard, but have to be done right, so listen good.

• Fill the bootom part of the hookah with water and close it tight.
• Take some amount of tobacco and fill the little cup ("the head") on top (3). But don't fill too tight.
• Cover the tobacco with a piece of aluminum foil with 6-8 little holes in it.
• Put the lightning coal on the foil and light it (unless you allready have a hoat coal).
• Take a number of big breaths untill you'll get reach white smoke.
• Ta-Dam !!!! Enjoy !
