Exterminator (BRA)- Total Extermination 12" LP

"Hitler, Himler, Mengele and Belzebu...Turn you up my slaves in hell!!!..." Sometimes lyrical profanity is most interestingly conveyed with a poor command of English, don't you think so? This is one way Exterminator makes their point. And the average IQ amongst you would've ascertained for sure that the guys behind the LP are up to no good with a sleeve coverart that incite screams of deja vu from Auschwitz victims and that the platter is a tough, unique find from the underground, fucked up way it looks. I might add that this LP is THE rarest "proto"-black/death metal release from Brazil, figuratively from the boxes of Brazillian LPs I've gathered over the years. But of course, the reviews isn't solely dictated by how rare and obscure the LP is and while I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, cult is appropriate in every senses. These guys are hot-blooded Brazillian metalheads with spikes so they do have that inherent South American sound that is reverberated in early Vulcano and Sarcofago. Inevitably, there is something clumsy about the way they put simple Sodom riffs on Bathory speed (fumbled over the chords, missed the beat, etc), and hence they found kinship with the hideous likes of Cova, Bestial War and Obsessos, 'cos Sarcofago is even way above them in terms of technicality (which may be shocking to you?). Yes, it's helluva raging noise grind assault of black metal and the recording has a very poor productions if there's even any at all. But remember it's '87 and who knows what kind of shady business Bemol was into. The vocals is tough and gruff, roaring thunders like Kam Lee if he ever goes maniacal and gives little coherence to the interesting lyrics that's brutally laden with heaps of references to satan, darkness, death and fascism. There is a host of killer lunatic blackened death thrashing assault of "Speed Metal", "Haunting The Church", "Voyage To Hell", "Marchando Para A Morte" no matter how bad the sound is, and also depending on what kind of a discerning listener you are. Unless you are rerouted to NECROMANSY by mistake, this should be the kind of evil filth you're looking for...
