One night, it started raining and storming pretty violently. The weird thing was, it didn't stop for a LONG time. Before I knew it, the kids
in the dorm across the grass were running around in water up past their knees, and the kids in yet ANOTHER dorm were trying to keep the water from
flooding their rooms. On tv, reporters showed constant flood footage and warned people to stay at home if at all possible. Despite the efforts of
the dam and the newly-opened river diversion tunnel, many areas still had extreme flood damage, including the total destruction of many homes. During
the weekend, most roads were closed, including all major highways... Here are a few of the visuals...
