I thought I would share a few simple spells that may come in
handy. Candle magic is the most simple magic to work. For these spells you should take a look at my candle page so that you can find out what color candle and such will work best for YOUR spell. In sharing this with you I hope to help you creat your very own spell. I shall share some other spells with you soon. The most impartant thing to do when working a spell is
to concentrate on what exactly you want to come of it. You want to clear as much
other junk out of your mind. And remember, be careful what you wish for... you
might get it!
Cleansing
Sea salt is a great tool in cleasing many things. Sea salt is easy to
find and cheap to buy. To cleanse your crystals, just let it soak in water you
have mixed with sea salt for about 24 hours and let it dry in some sunlight.
Then you can charge them as you see fit. You want to use about a teaspoon of sea
salt per cup of water. For a house you can either just sprinkle some sea salt in
the four corners of every room (or all around if you like) or mix the salt with
water and sprinkle it the same way.
Another way to cleanse a house is to buy or make purification incense. (common ingredients are two parts sandlwood, three parts frankincense, one part sage, bay or camphor) Burn this in the middle of the area to be cleansed. Then open all the windows and what have you till the smell is gone. You may want to proceed with a protetion spell.
Candles and Wishes
Once again I warn you, be careful what you wish for. And lets not
forget karma!
Rub a candle with the oil of your choice. (you will want to use a color candle that coresponds with your wish, as is with all spell, and the oil to could be that which coresponds) Carve your wish into the candle with something sharp. (anything that will carve into the candle really) Visualize your wish as you light the candle and stare into the flame. Think long about your wish and just what it would be like if it can come true. Let the candle burn itself out. (as I told my mother, you don't have to stare into the flame till it burns out, just for as long as you want then let it burn itself out)
Another way is to use a candle that color coresponds to your wish, as before. Visualizing your wish, place one pin through the wick of the candle and another through the wax below the wick. Light the candle and let it burn. When the flame burns down to the second pin your wish will be released.
