Jason wasn't very good in the school. He went to Havely Hey School in Whythenshame, Manchester, until he was 12, then he went to South Manchester High School. He left the school when he was 16 years old. He didn't like school, he prefered doing other things like playing football, swimming... But even he was not very good studying, he was a very shy boy, he almost didn't talk with his classmates. His first job was in a factory called Direct Works. He liked that job, but when Take That started he decided to leave the job.
He
didn't sing any song in Take That, only in the concerts and very few songs.
He says he is a shy guy so he's ashamed when he has to sing and there is
a lot of people. He's the only member who is not in the music world actually.
He spend the whole year (1996) relaxing in his house, and last year he
was in a theatre. Now he's an actor, he appears in a serie called "Dream
Team".
