The Ying Yang Wall
With a silent smile he beakons,
Calling me into the light,
Alas a wall seperates us,
So thick it is that his words are muffled,
I cry out but he cannot hear me,
And the light dims on my side,
I am left in the blackness,
Cold and alone, forever watching,
The warmth and light on the other side,
Like a bridge over water we could meet,
But only if both of us agree not to cut the cord,
The river runs dark and silent, constant reminders,
No light brightens my side, but this darkness grows,
Time is running out for me,
Soon I shall be but an empty shell,
Too tired and too lost to do anything,
Given up on the light, it shall never brighten me,
The darkness grows with the pain and tears,
The is is all the life I have, watching and waiting,
Forever.
