OASIS AT THE PATRIOT CENTER
I wanna thank Bill Davidson for sending me this review. He's a very dedicated oasis fan who was lucky enough to catch oasis' first two shows [E-Centre & Patriot Center]. Here's a review of the second show:
The second night was far better than the E-Center. The band seemed to be in a better mood. I was down on the floor about 10 feet from the band (in the mosh pit for the first time!) Cornershop did not come off as well in a large venue as they did at the E-Center. The boys came on about 9:00; and the set was as follows:
1. Be Here Now
2. Stand By Me
3. Supersonic
4. Roll With It
5.D'Ya Know What I Mean?
6. Don' Go Away (acoustic)
7. Whatever/Octopus's Garden (acoustic)
8. Cast No Shadow (acoustic)
9. Heroes (acoustic)
10. Don't Look Back In Anger
11. Wonderwall
12. Live Forever
13. Cigarettes And Alcohol
14. Champagne Supernova
15. Its Getting Better Man
16. Acquiesce (Encore)
The band sounded great! Liam had on a dress shirt and black rimmed eyeglasses. During Whatever...somebody threw something onstage and hit Noel's guitar! He looked pissed..He stated that we were lucky he was in a good mood and continued his acoustic set...Remarking that this song was for people who behaved themselves (Heroes). All in all a great show. I also saw them last October at the Hammerstein Ballroom in N.Y. Totally different show..No acoustic set..they played Stay Young/All Around The World/Magic Pie... If only the masses would realize how great they are!!
