A guest-star filled "Road to No Man's
Land!" special! In the lead story, Batman infiltrates a
criminal organization that's taking advantage of the chaos in
Gotham. But before he can act in the city's best interest, Green
Lantern literally drops into the conflict. Plus, Man-Bat
"rescues" Oracle from quake-ravaged Gotham and takes
her to his home in a church steeple; and the Question helps the
Huntress reach an epiphany as they track black-market
medical-supply sellers.
Takes place in post-Earthquake Gotham. There's a woman who's son was killed, and she's in agonizing pain due to her psychological anguish/injuries. So Helena is tracking down the guys who stole the hospital's morphine shipment. Two pages of her maiming and beating people up. Then, Vic appears mysteriously. Vic gives her some enigmatic responses to questions about who he is, and he convinces Helena they should work together. They find out that the morphine was stolen by a crooked National Guard, they beat people up, Helena gets a chance to kill the guy in charge, but doesn't. She says "Ask me why I did it." Vic says "The real question is why you didn't". Question-cloud-vanishment, Th' End.
