This issue features the first appearance of Marco, a master of the Brazillian slave dance-martial art of Capoiera, who has come under the influence of Lady Shiva to prove his skill against a North American named "Sage," guess who fits the bill? Jackie's dying, and her only hope is to get back to Hub City. Marco and Vic begin the cross-continent trip, but things are growing worse by the day. When they get to the Hub, the hospitals are overrun by drunken bikers. He and Marco clean the place out, but not in time to save Jackie's life.
