Saw The Stones in Houston, Febuary of 1998. Small place- maybe 5,000 people. Me and my buddy scored 5th row seats- way to go TICKETMASTER. Anyhow, During the sit down acoustic set I book it over to KEEF'S mic stand and am then rapping with a dude and this chick who are KEEF freaks that have been following the tour all over the USA. Keef gets to stage sits down and begins LIKE A ROLLING STONE. And baby, I was RIGHT THERE. IT was like seeing a GREAT WHITE SHARK up close and personal y'know? Like being in a shark cage with JAWS two feet away. HE IS ROCK AND ROLL. And it shows. The part where he was singing the chorus I was singing to and asking "How does it feel to be a ROLLING STONE?" Very appropriate question. Unfortunately KEEF didn't answer as he was singing. Anyhow, I got close enough and the chick rips off her bra and throws it as him. He tossed a pick at us but the damn thing went behind the security wall and a big dude was standing there.

So that is my Keef! story. It was really cool. The set was my STONES dream set, right down to STREET FIGHTING MAN.
