Billie father was a truck driver and he also played drums in a jazz band, but he died when Billie was only 10 in cancer. His mother was at that time working as a waitress in a local bar.
Billes first recording was "Looking for love", after that it a went very fast and in ´94 Billie married his long time girlfriend Adrienne Nesser. Just the day after the new married couple discovered that Adrienne was pregnant, and in March 1995 Adrienne gave birth to their baby, Joseph Marcicano Armstrong.
