G'Day, Name is Vic Etherington and I am a 36 year old Building Surveyor. I work for the City of Stirling which is the largest Local Government in the Metropolitan area of Western Australia. I started collecting Action Man when I was 10 years old , but unfortunately Girls and peer pressure got in my way and to my dismay all my Action figures were given away. It was in 1984 when my wife was pregnant for our first child that I stumbled across the new 3 3/4 Joes this seamed to stir up something inside me and I decided to collect the Joes for my unborn son !!.. When my Daughter Samantha was born I was over joyed ... and I had this collection of Joes , not wanting to let them go to waste I decided to keep them. Just in case I may have a son one day !! " I will keep collecting them until we have a boy.. OK ! Honey ? " ( well that was my story ...and I am going to stick to it !! ) Then I re-discovered my love for the 12 inch Joes and Action Man and well the rest is history. Now my son, Jason, and I play with our Action Men and have adventures on the lounge room floor.
