AMSTERDAM

Here it is! The trip was Labor Day weekend 1996, and the agenda was to sample
the 1995 Cannibis Cup winners and the best Amsterdam had to offer.

Bulldog Palace - touristy
Sinse Bio Skunk - Piney, compact, happy high

Global Chillage - crowded summer of '69 place
Citral - orange smell (of course), nothing spectacular
Red Lebanese Hash - very dry smoke, didn't impress me mixed well with skunk, though

Lucky Mothers - great place, but attracts a lot of tourists (like us)
Bubblegum - Outstanding, permagrin for all, very fluffy, worth the trip
Widow Maker - Left us babbling, but hard to judge after the Bubblegum very light taste
note: you must try the vaporizer

Smokey's - great selection, cool place
Northern Lights - tastes like juicy fruit, very smooth, always a favorite
Haze - like candy, smoked right after the NL, I was in heaven
Ketanna Hash - don't bother, it got high marks from others but I thought it tasted like tobacco
Zero Zero - very smokey, always a fav, hash like it should be

Green House - there is a reason why they always win, they are the best and they always stock there winners
Kali Mist - strong, strong, strong...bammm, in the head, no complaints though, thick smoke
White Widow - fuzzy yellow buds, got me excited
AK47 - great smell, too stoned to rate, smoke it at 5 am
Skunk #2 - sooo smooth you can't tell you had a hit makes your skull pulse
Silver Pearl - green w/yellow hairs, a bit hard
Jack Herrer - bury me with a Z of this....please, smelled like lucky charms, felt like cotton candy, sweeet, hmmmmm should have won
Parvartii Hash - chocolaty, lala land, the best yet

Fatal Flowers - another coffee house
Spoetnik Hash - aptly named, definetly spacey

Picasso - at one time this was a great shop, don't bother
Orange Bud - plain jane orange

Grasshopper - another tourist trap, good selection though
Super Skunk - very light, strong high though
Skuff Hash - sweet, felt like your eyes were swelling

Homegrown Fantasty - nicest staff in town
Northern Lights - good, but not as good as Smokey's
Purple Power - soft and dry, expands a bit, makes everything hilarious

Grey Area - fun place, don't miss it
Bubblegum - subtle high, up in your temples, tastes just like Lucky's

Red Light - Stay away
Thai - dry and crumbly, shit

Blue Velvet - nice local place, worth the stop
Hawaiian - sticky, sweet, nuclear orange and green, one of my fav's

Barney's Breakfast Bar - must go, big breakfasts and big buds
Thai Tops - rippin'

Pink Floyd - I went for the name but they suprised me with great buds
AK47 Killerskunk - tragically hip, good cross, burns the nose a bit
Master Kush - wow, goes right to your head, different type of high

Grasshopper 2 - don't waste your time, super tourist trap
zip, we went in search of Acapulco Gold, no dice

Blue Bird - great selection, all in a foto album, the man is a bit abrupt
Temple Ball Hash - don't miss, the real deal
Crystal Glow - similar to Silver Pearl, but smoother
note: rolled one 3 gram joint with these two, dangerous!
Bio Chronic - one word.....wrecked (in the mind and the lungs)

Well, that's the trip. Problem is we did it in 3 days, so there was a little
blurring of the potency and tastes. It's a good thing I wrote it all down.
