notes recieved with disc: audio: recorded by TaperAdvocat using Schoeps CCM4s > Reutelhuber Box ("The Best Damn Box I Ever Made" per Reutelhuber) > Sony PCM-M1 DAT video: NYC Bitch Committee - mini-DV master > DVD video / audio synched and authored to DVD by Silver Stallion DVD Productions I originally received this from Belgian Dimer Coowouters. It had some nice audio on it, but it had songs where there were numerous dropouts and audio glitches. So I demuxed the video from the original DVD using DVD Decrypter, and synched it with Dimer TaperAdvocat's exceptionally nice audio (see notes above) and remuxed them in Womble MPEG Editor - thus, the video was not re- encoded. In order to keep this down to a size that would still fit on one single-layer DVD, I had to encode TaperAdvocat's audio to 224 bit .ac3 - which is the bitrate and audio format on the original DVD. So there are two versions of this in circulation - one with good audio, and one with glitch audio. This one has the good audio.
