Convolutions round and round--
Make me stutter to think
Grasping for air that's not there
Never was, though I could pretend.
Something to make my heart smile and sing-
So I told it a lie, what I thought
was a harmless tale
of what will never be,
but I thought it anyway.

Wind and sun
Earth and rain
She flies into the night
Loving with the moon
Once with no one
Lost for nobody
It's all right
She's done it all before

Empty-
Clear thoughts
Void in my head
--Chains--
Liking them that guard me
Repetition of the days,
Nights and endless days
All alike but not...
She just cares for the rain.
