Painting Guide
the steps to painting models
- clean
- basecoat
- main colors
- details
- hair(especially dwarf deards)
cleaning
To clean the models take off all the excess flashing with a hobby knife(don't be a dumbass and cut yourself). Then put the models in a little cup and pour really hot water into it, untill it steams.
basecoat
Take the models outside and spray paint them with the primer. If you want something to be really colorfull use a white basecoat and if you want it to be drab and gloomy use a black coat. If your doing goblins use a goblin green primer, hence the name.
main colors
After you have it all one color paint on the main colors, like the armor, paint it chainmail. or the clothes the right color, you can figure it out.
details
I like this part the most. use your smallest brush and paint the little stuff and the buttons on the jackets and stuff like that.
hair
The hair is easy with practice. I useually use a mix of snakebite leather and some other colors, but you can also use layers of diffrent colors. try something diffrent, I can't really tell you this is the way its done, and this is the only way because there are so many ways.
