Masters Of Rock, Pop & Beyond Top 10 Countdown

Week ending 4/ 23/ 2004

 Hi folks! It's spring cleaning time here on our
little Top 10 or it seems that way anyway as we clean the chart out
of quite a few older songs and replace them with fresh
new debuts . Only three songs that were on last week's chart hang on
this week. The rest are all bona-fide brand new debuts. 
The big news is that after owning the top spot for 4 weeks
poor Nelly Furtado's "Try"  has been ousted not just out of the top spot 
but off the chart altogether. Since she debuted at #1 and spent 
all four of her charting weeks there that means she retains the unique
position of only being at #1 and never occupying another place on the chart
for her entire chart run. As for our new #1 you'll have to scroll down
and see. I'll only say it's by an attractive blonde with an acoustic
guitar whose song title contains the words "6 Miles". I'll bet Erik knows
who I'm talking about :)
Of course before our chart begins we need to say farewell to a lot of
songs this week!
