Ahhhh don't ya smell that ? It's the fresh warm aroma of nice new songs straight out of the oven ! We have exactly 7 brand spankin new debuts on the chart, not returns DEBUTS! All except for one are by artists who've never made our chart before so there's lots of new on our chart this week. The other debut is a second charting tune by Vegas New Wave sensations The Killers who land another hit on our charts in addition to their number 1 smash "Somebody Told Me" which is showing all the power and stamina of a Micheal Phelps (8 medals you did it! You go boy woo hoo!) as it enjoys a fourth week at #1 if it lasts one more week at the top it will hold the title of longest running number one on our chart so far. Many songs fall off this week including very surprisingly The Kimberly Trip who placed 2 songs on the chart last week only to watch them both fall off this week. So lets bid them and a few others a fine sayonara this week!
