Seeing Through
Most people in this world,
Have a problem with their sight.
Not just physical seeing,
But mental seeing.
They have the common affliction,
Of just looking at the outside of a person,
Without looking to see what's inside.
this has caused many problems,
Racism, sexism, bigotry,
Prejudices, slavery, and Ku Klux Klan.
If people could just see past the skin color,
There would have been no riots in L.A.
If people would look past gender,
There would have been no Mike Tyson trials.
If we all looked past the outside of a person,
I believe the world would be a much better place.
And also we would be following,
A lot more closely,
God's plan for us.
