He gave up many friends to save you.

Because of you He had the reputation of a heretic and a criminal.
You children?
He gave up His only son to die for you on the cross.
Your spouse?
He gave up his life for His spouse, the Church.
Your position?
He left heaven to have the humblest of births and save you.
Your love?
He was separated from His Father by your sin.
Your life?
He gave up His life on the Cross to pay for our sins.
No matter what price you end up paying,
It will never match the price he paid.
So pay it joyfully,
And He will reward you in heaven.
