Some opinions of (recently appeared) albums.
From begin 1998 in English.
The more Earth  the better the album (rating from 1 to 5). An ordinary day in my ordinary life

Tomas Bodin - An ordinary night in my ordinary life (Fox CD 017)

We're allready familiar with this keyboard wizard from Sweden. As a member of the Flower Kings this man knows to touch the real prog rock adorer. Concerning the solocarier you can encounter some Flower King elements in this workpiece allthough there is also an other Bodin. His 'ordinary life' shows us a more jazzy side than we usual know from him. He also lets us meet with a soundscape called 'An ordinary nightmare in porr mr. Hope's ordinary life'. It's not the usual stuff, but very innovating and original. His collegue Roine Stolt completes some of the tracks with his guitarplaying. This album is very balanced as well. From spacy fx till pompous organparts, from jazzy up-tempo riffs till fat mellotron sounds. Everything is on this cd, classical, jazz, sympho, space- and progrock, it doesn't matter to Tomas Bodin. And for me as listener not at all. Very exciting is the last track on the album. The three-piece 'Three stories' is an ode to his children, as I think. This is food for Flower Kings lovers.
