high (TA9702)
Lialim high, lonely at the top. Just before the album was officially released we allready presented this masterpiece on radio. And not without any cause. After the overwhelming debut 'Month of the year' in 1996, this cd is a superlative of its predecessor. They use a lot of Genesis-feel to induce lots of chicken-skin over your body. They begin with style with 'Twelve feet tall'. Analog keyboards and changing and unpredictable rhythms keep you stay to your stereo. You really get the feeling that you're completely in it. The songs on 'Lialim high' are a bit longer than on the first album. One of the many highlights is the 14:23 min. lasting 'The pelican lie'. Even what song you choose, you will fall from one astonishing song into the other. Absolute world-class this band, we're allready waiting for more of them. A note to all concert and festival organisations, don't be childish and book these Swedish guys for a tour. You just know why! © Symfo City ProgProductions ![]() |
