Brad News

-Shawn, Stone, Mike Berg and Regan Hagar spent time in the studio recording during December. An MTV news story confirmed that Brad was back working together and they hope to have an album out in 1999. This was the time frame the band set up after the last Brad tour at the end of 1997. Shawn was going to take the Summer of 1998 off to work on solo stuff while Stone toured with PJ. The only unknown right now is whether Shawn landed a deal. There were reports of a demo being shopped but nothing else...

-The Twilight Singers (Greg Dulli's side project with Shawn and Harold Chichester) is still due out on Columbia. The last reported date was late Spring. When there's news you'll hear it from here.

--> Todd tracked down Brad's top 5 list posted at CDnow. According to Mike, "We
can't get enough of that damn Brit rock." Here's the list:
Supergrass - In It For The Money
Radiohead - O.K. Computer
The Grifters - Full Blown Possession
Bjork - Homogenic
Ben Harper - Will To Live

Jason Writes:
"Every BRAD fan knows how the band got it's name right?
They really wanted Shame, but a guy named Brad Wilson owned the rights to that name so they named it after the guy, BRAD.
Well, what goes around comes around.
The Robb Brothers & HK's Laurie Gorman have action on L.A. band STONE, (see where it's going here) STONE's, Brad Wilson, named his band for BRAD's
Stone Gossard, who named his band BRAD when Wilson refused to surrender the
rights to the name SHAME."
Mr. Gray writes:
Stone said in an interview that they discovered it was all
down to some bloke called Keith, not Brad Wilson, so really BRAD should
have been called KEITH!!
