Another Whoopy Kat release, though the title The Berkeley Concerts II is somewhat misleading. This is actually the rehearsal sessions, rather than the actual concert itself.
As is to be expected, the band is a little rough, and not in full-out concert mode. But you still get some decent music, including Blue Suede Shoes, which appeared on the In The West official release.
The first 9 tracks are from Berkeley, and Whoopy Kat has filled out the CD with 3 tracks from the Isle Of Wight concert, and also 3 tracks from the Atlanta Pop Festival concert.
Nice additions too, especially the live Hey Baby from Atlanta, which closes this CD. Once I get the complete Berkeley concerts in my collection, I think Atlanta is next on my list of must-haves.
Quality, as with most Whoopy Kat releases, is quite good, and the bonus tracks are a nice addition.
