This is probably one of the first recodings in the vein of rap music. Jimi plays guitar and bass, Buddy Miles on drums, and Lightnin' Rod, a black street musician on vocals.
A 4 song release, with 3 versions of Doriella Du Fontaine, the radio edit version editing out a naughty word. And there seems to be some confusion on whether Jimi played on the 4th track, O.D.
If you're looking for something diferent, you might want to pick up a copy of this one, it was bargain priced when I got it. But be warned, it's not what you would expect to hear from Jimi.
But it's definitely worth a listen.
