Little Wing


With ROIO's, you can't always believe what you read. This one for example, says it was recorded August 2, 1968 in Seattle, Washington. According to records though, Jimi was performing in San Antonio, Texas on that particular day. Just a word of warning, caveat emptor, buyer beware. Now, having gotten that out of the way, this is actually partially from the band's concert at Winterland and I believe from the October 11, 1968 shows. At least `Little Wing' is. A very good sounding CD, I'd suggest it came from sources close to the master tapes, as there is very clear sound, excellent stereo separation, and low noise. Good performances from the band, especially on the previously mentioned `Little Wing'. This will make a good addition to your collection.
