Another ROIO. Midnight Magic is made up of performances from San Diego in 1969, and Berkeley in 1970. Sound quality is good, although distorted in some spots. But good for an ROIO. I hope some day that Jimi's Berkeley concerts get released by his estate.
I don't know if it was what was happening in Jimi's life, or what was going on in the world at the time, but from what I've heard so far, the Berkeley concerts seem to show Jimi playing some of his more serious, meaningful music ever. They just seem to have a certain something to them that I can't explain.
Janey, Eddie, are you listening? :)
