This was the bands first television appearance and they performed their then new single in a lipsync performance (miming the vocals and instruments to a tape playback) Two songs were taped "Too Much to Dream" was aired 11th January - Episode #398 and another song was aired on the 20th of Janaury - Episode #405. So far no footage has surfaced

The band are introduced by special guests the Sid and Marty Krofft Puppets and Cyd Charisse, lipsyncing their singles first then more performing with dancers and skits complete with laugh track, finally 'Women, Ladies, Girls, Chicks' with spoken word poetry interludes by Jim Lowe! A one hour black & white kinescope videotape exists. Show Re-broadcast 18th September 1969

Jack Lord (pre 'Hawaii-Five 0' days), Susan Strasberg and Tisha Sterling starred in this now rarely seen film that featured an obscure Prunes single on the soundtrack. The film also was released under the titles 'The Female Trap' and 'Lovers In Limbo'.

"If God did not exist it would be necessary to invent him" Wyatt/Captain America (Peter Fonda) reads from the wall of the House of Lights, the New Orleans brothel where with Billy (Dennis Hopper) they meet Karen (Karen Black) and Mary (Toni Basil) after the David A Axelrod composed, Dave Hassinger produced song from the 'Mass In F-Minor' LP is featured. Commenting on the film's soundtrack director Dennis Hopper remembers "this is the one piece of music I didn't want in... I didn't put in this film."

Starring Jennifer Rubin and Richard Lynch the Prune's most well known song featured in the film's fiery opening titles. Leonard Maltin rates it a BOMB, so you know it's worth checking out, the soundtrack was composed by Jay Ferguson from Spirit and it also featured another pysch classic the Chambers Brother's 'The Time Has Come Today', the story deals with a cult leader who dies in a mass suicide by fire in 1973
