Maggie Estep

Maggie Kicks Ass....She Moved to NYC at age 17...Something I find horribly intimidating. Since then, she has released two CDs...

The first Album was called No More Mister Nice Girl and was recorded with a rather hole-esque group called..... I Love Everybody. Maggie belts her prose over the wonderful music..."I'm not a normal girl, I'm an angry sweaty girl so bite me" She screams, "The wierdest things make my panties sweat".

The next album was called Love is a Dog from Hell...same type a'shit...only it was recorded with one single man...Knox Chandler who sound a lil like Nine Inch Nails only a bit lighter and with uh, a tune.

I first discovered her through a commercial on MTV featuring her poem Vegetable Omlette. Then I noticed her on MTV spoken word unplugged. She ruled, this is true.

Her most recent release was her first novel entitled Diary of an Emotional Idiot. BUYIT NOW...It be friggin' kickin. So buy it and read it...it's a quick read, only about 180 pages...it's i would guess to be a coming of age story...So buy it and all her albums.

You can also catch her on the new album by Recoil (Alan Wilder from Depeche Mode) called Unsound Methods. Maggie also appears with The Spitters on a Keroac Tribute album (also featuring Michael Stipe and Johnny Depp) called Kicks Joy Darkness
