Some people like to make their car look nicer on the outside because they want people to look at it... Some like to do because they love their car and want it looking it's best, and some like to make it look unique and different from all the other cars out there...
Here are a few pointers to personalising your car... The choices are endless, so take it from here... If you do need any more information or pictures, let me know and I'll help you out...
Deprending on your taste, you might want to get lowering blocks, springs, dropped spindles or suspension lift kits... You can either raise your vehicle and then decide to put oversized wheels and tires on it (for that monster car look) or you can drop it on the ground and go for that 'just cruising' look...
Lowered....
And Lifted...

These are some of the most popular mods around... You can find all different types of rims ranging from aluminum to polished and to chrome... The designs are very varied, but most popular applications include 3 or 5 spole designs. Rims come in according to their size, measure in inches. Stock cars come in usually with rims varying between 14" to 16"... People usually replace these for larger or nicer designs. On the market for normal cars there are up to 24" wheels... Before you purchase any just make sure that the bolt design is the same as that on your vehicle...
Tires also come in many sizes and designs. What you choose can depend on whether you want a sporty tread on the tires or whether you want a rough off-road look, or just a plain classic look. Depending on your tatse, you might want to go for large diameter wheels and fit on some really low profile tires, or go instead with smaller rims but with huge tires (preferable on jeeps only!)
LOWPROFILE
Having a big scoop in your hood is a good way to increase the airflow if you have a turbocharged machine, but even if you don't it's still a very good looking mod. You can either buy the whole hood (which has to be made especially for your vehicle) or you can go for buying just a scoop, and find a proffesional to cut your hood and fit it on...

These are usually almost fitted on sports cars, but they can also be
found for sedans and trucks. These things almost instantly change the look
of your truck, usually for the better.... (I have seen very ugly wings
and spoilers out there). These are to be ordered specifically for your
car, and it is preferable if a professional fits them on. For some very
very outrageous kits, check out
Pretty cheap and an easy mod to fix, you can buy these for most popular vehicles. What a light cover basically is, just that, a cover for your lights... They usually come in black plastic or sometimes different colors to match your vehicle... Some companies have let their creativity go wild and created covers with designs and all sorts of stuff in them... Check the pix out...
Dont like the original look of your car's grille? Well change it then! These can be found for most cars and trucks, and they are quite easy to install... I personally find them very nice and especially for cars that have badge or the company logo at the front... (Such as GMC's)... Plain grilles look much nicer...
For those of you who want to improve the look of your exhaust system but don't want to bother buying the whole thing, you can buy exhaust tips that fit onto your current exhaust system. They usually look pretty nice, and are pretty cheap to buy.
These are basically stickers that can say ANYTHING. Click here for examples:
Not everyone likes this mod, but it's relatively easy to do... Buy the tint and put it on... Voilla... Better privacy, less heat in the car and looking nicer already. Otherwise you can always replace the glass in your car with tinted glass... Check out any nearby car-glass factories and see if they have any in stock.

The tint you can buy comes in almost all colors... The only color I haven't seen yet is metallic purple... Most people like to go for black, or fix on a shade that is the same as their car's color. These can be found in shades from super dark (very hard to see through) to very light shades which only serve as minor protection from the sun.
Changing your orange side markers and red tail lights to plain clear lights is a very nice mod, especially if your car is a black/white car... These aren't too expenisve, and installation is pretty simple. Also, instead of clear lights you can go for different colors to match your car's color or scheme...

Youv'e seen the new BMW's, Audi's, Lexuses etc... With the laser bluish lights right? Well how bout you get them for your own car? To get a normal blue halogen bulb that resembles the xenon light is pretty easy, and won't cost much at all... But to fit actually xenon bulbs in, you would need to get a whole HID replacement kit, which could cost around $700... But hey, it's worth it no?

Depending on whether or not your current mirrors look good or not, you might want to change them for a sportier look. The M3 side mirrors seem to be very popular these days, but a veriety of designs can also be found to match your car.

It's usually very hard to find parts and accesories for your car here in the Arabian Gulf. What I do is order them from Carparts. The parts are shipped quickly, and their prices are very reasonable. Even for some of the accessories that are available here, I usually find much cheaper at carparts. Try them out!
