In those days, when the excitement of flying aboard came to Israel, the four good looking boys packed their suitcases - Eyal Dasao, Idan Yaskin, Eyal Shahar and Amir F Gutman leave the holidays behind. You can calm down. They won't go away for too long. They'll be back on October 18th, for 5ive's concert.

We're talking about small vacation (that's what the famous and the bussiest group can efford) but at least it is a holiday.Knowing that y ou have to, because how much can you perform, take photo shoots, meeting fans constantly.

"The idea is to relax. Memorise the lines. It's exosting being 24 hours together". Shahar says. "We can't get out of work. Because a band it's not a 9 to 5 work. It's around the clock businness."

Idan: "We need to relax, to sleep, to eat".

Eyal: "Besides you write songs when you're in holiday".

Oh, so it's really a time off from work...

Eyal: "Look, even if you are in vacation, you watch video clips, you search for clothes, but at least when you go in Europe you don't have to worry about the way you look. It's not hear that i put a make up before i got to the supermarket, but still it's a small country and ever since we're in the band we're more representaive. We became awareness to the way we look. A month after we went out to the media for the first time we decided to be more careful and more aware. We all live here like in the Truam Show."

Considering what the boys have been through, i won't be surprise if the vacation will be even noticed. To those who live here knw that it was a busy year for the boys full of events. Besides releasing Take 1 and Take 2, Michael left, a split that came with an unforgotable concert at the cinerama and left all the dearest hfive to become four. The friends got over very fast about this split, you can say for their sake, and came back for a full action.

So how is Michael?

Eyal: "He's fine. We keep in touch with him. Not everyday. But every week someone else from the band talk to him. Sure he miss being here. It wasn't just a job here."

Amir: "He decided after a long term of questioning. Our roots are here. And his are not. We knew it all along. It was a day after we won the festigal and it wasn't easy. One night was the celebration and then he left".

What did the split did to you?

Eyal: "It was good for us. The way we became. It's a different work when you're in four. There is much more room to move on stage. Now in the world there a lot of four members groups."

Amir: "It helped in many ways. Let's say in a proces of making decisions. In five there is the most and in four we learn to compramise if it's half half situation".

How do you summarize the last year? What was the most important thing that happened?

Idan: "The most important thing is that we change the look and became four, we got another gold album, we became band of the year in different places and we're improving everyday."

Amir: "I don't make my thinking in new year so it hard for me to summarize it in one event. You'll need a whole magazine for me. The most important thing, personally and of the group is that we stayed truth to ourselves".

Eyal: "Personally for me, i got maried and it's a year that summarize a very active year. For the group, i agree with Amir. Staying in Hfive, the fact that we didn't split, it's important".

Even the becoming of four, this year hfive spread to the modelling area. They did a few commercials. They are hurry to say that the music is and nothing else the most important thing in their lives...

You're the lead group here, even though you don't have competition int he country, do you feel lonely on the top?

Eyal: "Well there are Eden but Hfive being here first. So it give us the opertunity to dare. But it's nice to have no competition. It's us against groups from other countries".

Idan: "There isn't many pop music here. We're the only one. Even though there are this faze of boysband and girlsband aboard, an easy music to listen too. There are a lot of people that listen only to music from other countries and us. Because we're like from here but also like them".

Shahar: "But we don't care to have more groups and have some competiton. It'll bring more audience to the shows".

What is your favourite boys band?

Shahar: "I am prefering the songs. Not groups."

Eyal: "Every band that started make a million dollar clip. Here it doesn't like that. That's why we're not going for the clips. But our connection with the audience."

What about the fans?

Idan: "In the first rows of our concerts we can see those who are coming to all our shows. We recognize them. But there are lot of new faces. Every person that enjoy the show, tell a friend and the next time they're coming with their friends. So to those who comes to our shows all the time, we're trying to thank our way, if it's by the phone, a letter or thanks face."

What do you wish for yourleves next year?

Idan: "To perform a lot, making good to people, get a gold record for this new CD and keep on moving".

Shahar: "That we'll stay the way we are and have more shows".

Idan: "And that the music business will change. No more faking CDs. That people will start taking music seriously".

Amir: "I would like us to be more successful and see more happiness with my friends. It looks like we're all depressing. I would be a lot happier if people will be more free. No stress. My dad said that here in israel people are so nervous all the time. We need to work on ourselves and have a happy new year".

Shahar: "I wish that the audience won't be afraid of stigmas on us. There is a time case here. The oldest you are in this business you are treated more seriously. I wish that people will take us more seriously".

And how can you forget the hysteria on the way: Just a few days ago we were told that in October 18th we'll be visited by 5ive, the hottest boysband in the pop planet. And what more natural to unite our hfive with theirs. And so the boys will support 5ive with 8 songs. So until then the guys are very excited.

"It's very flattering". Eyal says. "It'll be a great experience. 5ive is a proffessionall band and is lead in the pop music and it's an honor for us to learn from them live. Who knows maybe they'll learn from us. After all they are colleagues. They might not know about us, but they are colleagues."
