"My Star" Reviews...
The first one is from Kate in Poland
Well... what can I say about it? It's like 'a military journey to Mars', isn't it? I think the lyrics are really gooood ! Ian proves his huge exceptional talent once again! The 'outer space' bits are not so bad... although they could be better... but anyway they fit a lot to the song. The best thing in 'My Star' is of course Ian's uncanny voice... which, as always sounds perfectly ! His singing is so gooood... and he's so cute! His voice is one of the greatest voices in music ever, maybe even the greatest! I don't know who's playing the bass here (maybe Ian himself? 'Cos he played various instruments on his album... with a little help from his friends... ), but the bass lines are excellent! Better than Aziz's guitar lines... What else to say? Just that I love this song and I think Ian's gonna rule the world next year and I can hardly wait to hear 'Unfinished Monkey Business' (especially 'Can't See Me'... you know why...) I'm telling you, no one's gonna release a better album in '98!
