What a blast ! From the begininng intro of "The Future Needs ...", you can hear & feel how the band
has improved since their 1st album "Apocolokyntosys" which has beed recorded back in 1996.
Not only the songs but also the production, mix and the choice of the sounds shows the progression.
DeLuigi's voice is so perfect. Actually all band members are in top form.
All songs are very well composed. There are beautiful melodys,  killer riffs and odd time signaturs.
Eros & Thanatos has everything, a very good prog album. Empty Tremor have made an awesome
prog album. All 9 songs are great prog tunes. The incredible progressive instrumental "Chinese Box"
is a class of it's own. The powerfull "Always There" with killer riffs is a kick ass tune !
The  slower songs: "Star", "Lost In The Past" & "Just For Today" are so wonderful.
Beautiful melodies, and great vocals make these very special songs with "Lost In The Past" beinng
one of my all time favorites. A classic prog ballade. You have to love it.
The prog killer "Y2K" is damn good. The last 3 mins of this song contains progressive metal at
it's best. Only a few bands can write and play such a great stuff. You might allready heard the ending
parts formaly known as "The Unknown Kick Ass Song". Awesome stuff.
The epic "The Timeless Night" is in my opinion the best song on the album. It has everything.
The definitive Empty Tremor song ! A true prog masterpice.

Overall a fantastic album which all prog metal fans will like. A huge step forward for the band.
Empty Tremor has grown up as a band. Eros & Thanatos is very well written and produced.
If you like "Apocolokyntosys" then you will love the new album. It's even better.

Energie Records to promote Voices - A Tribute to  Dream Theater.
This event has take place on 22 September at Thunder Road Club in Pavia / Italy.

The work for Empty Tremor's new album is still going on.  The album should be out in October.

Empty Tremor has just finished the recording of drums and guitar tracks.
According to Daniele Liverani, the work is going really well and the production sounds
fantastic so far. The band is really looking forward for the final results.

The band will return to the studio in July to record the bass and the keyboard tracks.
ET have also changed some of the arrangements and improved many aspects of the songs.
The recordings should be finished by the end of the next month.
Empty Tremor will mix the album probebly in August. The release is set for October.

Daniele Liverani (Empty Tremor's keyboard player) has just re-recorded his first solo album.
The album which includs guest musicians like Joey Vera (Armored Saint / Fates Warning), and
Ricky Wolking (Jennifer Batten), was originaly recorderd 1994 in USA but it has never been released.
During the past 2 months, Liverani who plays all the keyboards as well as lead guitars (!) has re-recorded
his parts. He has also reworked on the production. The result promised to be an amazing album.

Most likely the album which will contain 10 instrumental songs (all written by Daniele Liverani), will be
released in Italy on Elevate Records at the end of the year (nothing is confimed yet).

The band hope to finish the album by the end of the year. Some of the songs have no lyrics yet and
the band is working very hard to complete these songs.
The new songs (so far) are :

The Eyes Of Universe Fan Club were lucky enough to hear these 7 demo songs and we are sure that,
the new album will be another masterpice like "APOCOLOKYNTOSYS".
Here some thoughts about each song :

- The Future Needs Your Name :
  Very strange and cool intro. The song getting better and better.
  A lot of changes in the arrangements. Superb ending. Awesome song.
- Just For Today :
  Great piano intro. Very good ballade with some prog elements.
  This song is the new "Rules Of Time". But it's still different.
  Maybe even better than "Rules Of Time".
- Outside :
  Killer intro with a cool riff. Great song, great vocal melody. This song just kicks ass.
- Lost In The Past :
  One of the best Empty Tremor songs ever. Wonderful ballade with awesome piano parts.
  You can compare this mastrepice with Dream Theater's "Wait For Sleep".
  Our favorite new song. Just beautiful.
- Untitled Instrumental I :
  Very cool and heavy intro. This track is another kick ass song.
  Lots of time changes in the middle part. This song sounds great without any lyrics.
  Maybe another awesome Instrumental song la "Apocolokyntosys".
- Untitled Instrumental II :
  What can we say. Empty Tremor just kick ass. Another great song.
  Very progressive and melodic. Can't wait to hear the finished version.
- Untitled Instrumental III ("The Unknown Kickass Song"):
  Actually, this song could be discribed as awsome and we are spechless about the ending.
  The last 2 mins of this song are like the middle part of Dream Theater's "Metropolis".
  It promissed to be one of the best prog tunes ever !!!
 

We have a great challenge going on at the moment, "Magna Carta" is considering to distribute
EMPTY TREMOR in the USA, if that happens USA prog friends will have the chance of getting APOCOLOKYNTOSYS at an affordable price, and not at a huge import price....
Rising sun is doing a good price for Europe but it's really sad to know that USA friends have to pay so
much for EMPTY TREMOR :-(

So if you are living in the USA, or even if not, and you like our album you could help it to be distributed
at a  good price for the USA prog guys sending an e-mail with your opinions to magcart@aol.com and
asking for a decent price distribution of APOCOLOKYNTOSYS.
